Burlap Squirrel Pillow
These squirrels are adorable for Fall, but consider changing it up for other seasons. How about bunnies for a spring pillow? Or, spray paint a snowman for winter.

- Krylon® ColorMaster™ Spray Paint — Brown Boots #53562
General Supplies
- Burlap, two pieces cut to 15” x 15”
- Pillow form, 14” x 14”, or fiberfill
- Sewing machine
- Painter’s tape
- Newspaper
- Stencil film or vinyl
- Straight pins
- Cut the stencil film or vinyl with desired images.
- Place in the center of the burlap fabric and adhere.
- Mask off all areas you do not want painted with tape and newspaper.
- Spray the open area with Krylon® ColorMaster™ in Brown Boots.
- Allow to dry and then add more coats as necessary.
- Let dry and remove masking.
- Pin the two pieces of burlap right sides together. Stitch with a 1/2 inch seam allowance and leave an opening in the bottom to allow for the pillow form or stuffing to be inserted.
- Turn right side out.
- Fill with desired filler.
- Whip stitch the bottom closed.
Designer’s Tip:
You may wish to stitch the sides of the pillow a couple of times since burlap frays easily.
